Symptoms of Ankylosing Spondylitis

What are the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis?

Scleroderma Clinical Trials

I’ve read a couple of stories regarding scleroderma being treated with the antibiotic minocycline. Trial clinic at John Hopkins. Where can I find the info?

Methotrexate for Psoriatic Arthritis Treatment

I am 20 years old and have been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis for the last two years. I developed psoriasis when I was about 11. My main problems are in my knees and pelvis but recently I have started to feel more and more pain in my wrists and ankles. I am currently injecting 15mg of methotrexate a week, taking tramadol at night and 150mg of diclofenac a day. I feel like things are getting worse. My doctor suggested switching the diclofenac to celebrex but I’m not sure that’s the best solution. I’ve been on methotrexate for six months – at first it was working really well but now my periods of stiffness in the morning are much worse and I’m constantly in some kind of discomfort. Can anyone suggest anything? I feel unable to tackle my rheumatologist who seems to think I should just plod along as I am.

Meloxicam

I have been prescribed and am taking Meloxicam (15 MG) 1/2 pill each day. Is this good for Arthritis? Thank you!

Combining NSAIDS and Tylenol for pain

Is it safe to take a 200mg dose of Celebrex once a day in the morning, accompanied by one extra strength Tylenol? And then throughout the day supplement this with Tylenol [every four hours, not exceeding the recommended daily dose of Tylenol]?

My 14 year old daughter has rheumatoid arthritis

My 14 yr.old daughter has been diagonosed with RA, and I have been looking about different side affects of medicines, could any of the meds for RA infertilize my daughter being so young now later in life, and how bad about liver failure? Is hair loss a huge factor, do most people have stomach problems with medicines, ok I know Its more than one question, but there is just so much to know and my head is spinning. My daughter has not yet started any meds, just inflammatories. She will be in the next few weeks.
