I am an active bicyclist and hiker, recently diagnosed with significant arthritic changes in my hips and lower back. Due to pain, I’m currently not engaged in active sports other than walking about 2 miles per day. I would appreciate any advice you might give about exercise programs or how to find a trainer knowlegable about arthritis to help me regain some cardiovascualr and strenght fitness and resume some of the more challenging activies I enjoy.
We recommend you check into your local gym for trainers. Ask for one who has done some medical training.
