Do women get Reiter’s syndrome?

Question

Do women get Ryder’s syndrome

Answer

Hi Connie,

Yes, they do get Reiter’s syndrome (your spelling was a little off). but it is more common in young men than young women.   Another name for it is “reactive arthritis”.  It starts 1-3 months after an infection, usually dysentery but also from other organisms.
