I take methotrexate weekly 15mg for dermatomyositis and have noticed that I seems to be suffering some symptoms of memory loss. I am wondering if this is a side effect.

I have Polymyositis. My cpk levels are always 2500-3000. I smoke marijuana and I was wondering if it could make my levels so high?

Would it be possible to have muscle inflammation in several areas of your body without muscle weakness and this be linked as having myositis? If not, what other illness could cause muscle inflammation without weakness? Some muscles are so tender, they cannot stand to be touched.

What are the treatments for this disease for a 39 year old man? How does this disease affect the body? What medications help the pain?

What diseases would produce high ck levels? (particularly when the heart was found to be fine)
