As with many RA patients, I experienced almost complete remission with my pregnancies. I have heard that some centers are banking blood during pregnancy to attempt to create this response after delivery. I can not find any articles reporting this and am wondering if you might be able to help. I am currently on Enbrel, Methotrexate, prednisone and have had Prosorba treatment. Pregnancy is the only time I am well.

It has been suggested that I start far infrared saunas for the treatment of arthritis. I have a lot of pain in my hands and need something to help me move my fingers without so much tightness and pain. I am on vioxx but that does not do a lot to help. I have tried celebrex but cannot tolerate that medication. What I need to know is if there is any value to far infrared saunas and what would be the side effects if any?

On Garrison Keillor’s radio show last week, he mentioned his mother had arthroscopic knee surgery using material from camels that replaced her cartilage. Please advise who/where is doing this procedure and any other info you have about it.
