Dr. DiRenzo received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and her M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center and performed a fellowship in rheumatology at Johns Hopkins. She also obtained an MHS in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She joined the faculty in 2019 after completing her fellowship.
Dr. DiRenzo engages in patient reported outcomes research and is focused on health-related quality of life and patient wellness. She is certified in Mindfulness and Meditation and is studying how mindfulness may improve coping and positively impact symptoms and disease activity related to autoimmune disease. Dr. DiRenzo’s clinical interests include inflammatory arthritis, Sjogren’s Syndrome, and musculoskeletal ultrasound (RhMSUS certified).
